Specialist Support offers a mechanism to help businesses seeking consultancy support to grow and develop. Offering typically up to 50% of the consultancy costs, Specialist Support allows business to purchase direct from the open market the consultancy support required to meet the particular needs of their business. Most businesses in Wales are eligible for Specialist Support. However, each application is assessed on its own merits and support will be offered based on the quality of the project, value for money and the potential impact on the economy. The Specialist Support programme is funded jointly by the National Assembly for Wales (NAFW) and the European Union (EU), and managed by the Enterprise Innovation and Networks department of the NAFW.
